Some of the most popular Disney World souvenirs on the market right now are the mini Loungefly backpacks, which you can find online and in the parks! Plus, you can sometimes find them at non-Disney stores, like Hot Topic, BoxLunch, and Amazon. When you go to Disney World, you’ll see these bags EVERYWHERE. People love them! And with their cute theming and great storage space, we can totally see why. That’s why we’re always on the lookout for NEW Loungefly backpack designs.

Loungefly bags
Now, Disney has released a brand-new Pixar-themed Loungefly bag! If you’re a fan of the classic Monsters, Inc. movie and its prequel Monsters University, you’re gonna want to buy this new bag ASAP.
Let’s check out this new bag and a few other Monsters University-themed items that recently dropped on Disney’s online store!
Get the Monsters University Loungefly Mini Backpack
This new Monsters University Loungefly Backpack is designed to look just like a collegiate varsity jacket! It’s got the stripes, patches, faux buttons, and everything.
The backpack has a big zipper compartment, some side slip pockets, and an exterior zip pocket.
Plus, check out this fun interior lining design!
This bag is made of simulated leather and has faux silver hardware and buttons.
Get the Monsters University Baseball Cap
We’ve seen this baseball cap around Disney World before, and now you can get it online! The blue Monsters University cap has the “MU” logo and is distressed so it looks vintage.
The hat has a curved bill and an adjustable strap at the back so you can change its size to fit you.
Get the Monsters University MagicBand+
There’s a new Monsters University MagicBand+ band, too! It features Mike Wazowski and a college-themed design. You’ll see elements like pennants, emblems, and Archie the Scar Pig from the movie in the design.
MagicBand+ is the next level of MagicBands in Disney World. Using these bands, you can scan into the parks, open your hotel door, and even pay for your purchases. MagicBand+ offers extra perks like color-changing lights that interact with some nighttime shows (like the fireworks), vibrations and haptics that match with certain rides and experiences, and gesture recognition when you wave at the gold character statues in the parks.
