Here’s an overview of what you can look forward to in February at Disney World!
Princess Half Marathon
Where are our runDisney fans at? Disney World just hosted its marathon weekend, but just around the riverbend is the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend!
It takes place from February 20th to 24th with a different race each day. And yes, the medals are totally epic again this year!
There is one thing we need to warn you about, though! Due to the race, EPCOT will open LATE on February 23rd. So if you were planning to start your day in EPCOT, you’ll either want to rethink your plans or sleep in that day…unless you’re running the race of course!

EPCOT After Hours Events Are BACK!
Have you ever wanted to stay in the parks after they closed? Well, with the return of After Hours events, you can! After Hours is a separately ticketed event that includes complimentary snacks (including Mickey ice cream bars!), exclusive characters, and short lines at popular attractions.
From 10PM to 1AM (with entry to the park beginning at 7PM) you can enjoy a nearly-empty park. The tickets cost $155-$175 per person depending on the date and they are on sale now! There is only one date this month — February 27th — but there are plenty of other events scheduled through September 2025.

Festival of the Arts End Date
The EPCOT Festival of the Arts might be one of the shortest EPCOT festivals, but it’s also one of our favorites! It officially kicked off on January 17th, but it will come to a close on February 24th, 2025.
The festival celebrates the culinary, visual, and performing arts with several food booths around the park, live chalk artists, a Disney on Broadway concert series, and so much more. Want an easy-to-navigate guide that tells you EVERYTHING and more about the festival? We’ve got a guidebook for that!
There’s something for everyone to enjoy and the best part is that it’s all included in your park ticket!

Valentine’s Day
We couldn’t forget about Valentine’s Day on February 14th, of course! This holiday isn’t necessarily a HUGE deal in Disney World, but you will see some small changes including specialty treats at some of the restaurants and snack spots.
You could also run into special character meet and greets. These aren’t typically posted anywhere so keep your eyes peeled!
Check out the Valentine’s Day snacks and reviews from 2024!
