Animal Kingdom is changing a lot these days.

Tree of Life
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are getting ready to move in, and the dinosaurs’ extinction is imminent. While we sadly await the official goodbye to DinoLand, we were lucky enough to dig up a new treat in the land! Let’s see if it’s worth excavating.
Over in DinoLand U.S.A., you’ll find Dino Bite Snacks (not to be confused with Trilo-Bites). At Dino Bites, you’ll find ice cream, cookies, churros, and more.

Dino Bite Snacks!
One of our favorite things to grab from this spot is their amazing ice cream sandwiches! While we might love them, they might be a bit much for others. Luckily, Dino Bites has now added a brand new treat. The Dino Eggs-cavation dessert is now available for $5.29!

The signage!
This treat is made up of a chocolate chunk cookie, cookie crumb-milk mousse, edible sugar bones, and a white chocolate dino egg with a surprise inside!

The Dino Eggs -cavation
The cookie was really soft, thick, and doughy, which we enjoyed! The mousse has tiny chunks of cookie but leans heavily on the milk flavor. The edible sugar bones dissolved when we were enjoying them, and were essentially sugar.

A sneak peek at the mousse
They give you a compostable spoon to break into your white chocolate egg to find a surprise white chocolate dinosaur and sprinkles inside the egg! While all of the flavors were fairly simple, we did love the novelty of breaking into the egg.

The dino!
This treat overall was really sugary, but we could see kiddos loving this! It’s cute, sugary, and an acceptable way to play with your food. It’s not going to reinvent the wheel, but it was a fun afternoon dessert.

Another look at the egg!
This is a treat that won’t be around forever because DinoLand is closing permanently to make way for Pueblo Esperanza! This new land will feature stories from Indiana Jones and Encanto. It’s expected to open in 2027. DinoLand doesn’t have a formal closing date just yet, but part of the land has already closed to make way for the new land.

Construction is already underway
For now, we’ll continue digging up these cute treats while we can! As always, be sure to keep following DFB for more Disney reviews and updates.
