ATTENTION ALDI SHOPPERS: A product recently sold at the popular market chain has been recalled by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

Back in April, ALDI offered Casa Mamita Churro Bites, mini churros filled with chocolate hazelnut cream. However, according to the FDA, the product has been recalled because it may contain undeclared milk.

While the agency reports that NO illnesses have been reported, the presence of undeclared milk means that those “who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.”

According to the FDA, the recall was initiated “after a consumer discovered that the milk-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes that has subsequently been corrected.”

The recalled boxes, which carried a BEST IF USED BY DATE of JUL/14/2025 and Lot Number 01425, were sold in ALDI locations in the following states: AL, AR, FL, GA, IA, IL, KY, LA, MO, MS, NC, SC, and TN.

The FDA recommends that those who purchased the 7.05 oz boxes of Casa Mamita Churro Bites Filled with Chocolate Hazelnut Cream return the item to the place of purchase for a full refund as soon as possible. Stay tuned to DFB for more on this and any other potential product recalls.
