NEWS: Norwegian Cruise Line Cancels Over FOUR MONTH’S Worth Of Itineraries For 2026

Norwegian Cruise Lines has had to cancel over four months’ worth of cruises in 2026 for two ships. This change is due to a “fleet redeployment,” according to the cruise line.

If you were headed on a Norwegian Cruise in 2026, you might need to go check your email. The cruise ships, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Breakaway, are going to swap schedules next year, which will impact more than 4 months’ worth of cruise itineraries.

According to USA Today, this fleet redeployment will lead to the Prima sailing the Breakaway’s planned Southern Caribbean schedule from Puerto Rico. The Breakaway will take on the Prima’s previously planned Western Caribbean schedule to depart from New Orleans.

Norwegian Prima: Cruises between November 15th, 2026, through March 28th, 2027
Norwegian Breakaway: Cruises between November 8th, 2026, through March 28, 2027

If you want to rebook your cruise on the switched ships, you can book the original itineraries beginning on August 8th, 2025. The cruise line alerted those impacted in letters saying, “We want to assure you that we’re here to make this process as smooth as possible.”

Anyone who had a cruise booked for the canceled itineraries received a full refund and 10% future cruise credits with Norwegian.
