Attention potential Disney World travelers, if you’re planning on heading to the “Most Magical Place on Earth in the next year and a half, things may be a bit more expensive.
While prices going up is normal, the company is taking a different approach than in the previous 6 years that I’ve covered Disney’s theme parks. Instead of raising prices across the board, Disney is further taking advantage of the dynamic pricing concept.
Holiday Parties
While the prices for regular theme park tickets are locked for the rest of the calendar year of 2025 (don’t worry, we’ll get to 2026), those considering going to this year’s installment of the Magic Kingdom’s beloved Holiday parties may be in for some sticker shock when it comes to pricing.
Tickets for the 2025 installment of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party range from $119 to $229, depending on the date. In comparison, 2024’s tickets ranged from $119 to $199, also depending on the date. Meaning that while the cheapest dates remained the same, the most in-demand dates increased by $30.
A similar uptick occurred with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Tickets for that event cost between $169 to $229, depending on the date. While the low-end $169 price point remained the same as 2024, last year’s ceiling was $219, meaning that the cost to attend the most expensive nights has risen by $10.
2026 Tickets
Moving into next year, it may seem on the surface like Disney World’s ticket prices didn’t change between 2025 and 2026, as the overall range for single-day tickets remains $119-$199.
Specifically, when divided by park, the ranges are as follows:
- Magic Kingdom: $139 to $199
- EPCOT: $129 to $184
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $139 to $194
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $119 to $179
In fact there are technically two decreases on the above list as the Magic Kingdom’s least expensive days fell from $144 to $139, and EPCOT’s most expensive single day tickets went from $194 to $184.
However, thanks to Disney’s dynamic pricing model, there’s a schism between perception and reality. While the ranges are roughly the same as 2025, many dates see higher prices within those ranges. For example, 25 of 31 days in January 2026 have a higher “highest price” than their counterpart in 2025. The theme continues through the majority of the year, with the glaring exception of July, August, and September, when most days are at the higher end of the price spectrum but slightly lower than their 2025 counterparts.
If you’re planning on visiting Disney World in 2026, or trying to squeeze in a holiday party in 2025, be forewarned that ticket prices are going to be higher than you’re used to. Stay tuned to DFB for more on Disney’s price structure.
