Béis luggage has been everywhere lately, from social media to airport terminals. However, if you are considering making the investment in these bags, you should be aware of a few key points.

With their sleek design, huge popularity, and savvy features, it’s easy to see why so many people decide to splurge on this luggage. After spending $270 on a Béis luggage, we have a few things to share with you before you “Add to Cart”. If you’re thinking of investing in this ultra-aesthetic travel gear, here are four things we wish someone had told us first.
1. The Weekender Bag Hurts (When It’s Full)
The Weekender Bag might look like the perfect travel companion with its structure and stylish design. But once it’s actually packed, it’s a whole different story. The bag gets heavy, and with its stiff structure and shorter straps, it can be surprisingly uncomfortable to carry through airports or hotel lobbies. Add in the bottom shoe compartment and you’re dealing with a bulky, shoulder-digging load. It’s gorgeous, sure, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s effortless to lug around when full.
2. The Colors Sell Out Fast
If you’re set on a specific color, especially to match other luggage or accessories, act fast. Béis regularly drops limited-edition or seasonal colors, and they often sell out quickly. We’ve learned the hard way that waiting even a few days to “think it over” can mean missing out completely. If aesthetics are important to you, just know that your favorite shade might not stick around for long.

3. The Warranty Isn’t as Generous as It Sounds
Béis offers a “limited lifetime warranty,” which sounds amazing until you read the fine print. While cracks in the hard shell are covered, dents and cosmetic damage are not. And that “lifetime” refers to the expected life of the luggage itself, not your lifetime as a customer. So if your suitcase gets scuffed, dinged, or banged up from regular travel, which it likely will, don’t count on a full replacement. It’s better than nothing, but definitely not as comprehensive as you might assume.

4. The Bags Run a Bit Too Big
The size of the bag matters when you’re dealing with strict airline baggage policies, and Béis bags can push the limits. The Carry-On Roller is slightly larger than what some airlines allow, even though we haven’t personally run into issues, it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re flying with low-cost carriers or internationally. The Weekender bag, meanwhile, is generally too large to qualify as a personal item unless you remove the shoe compartment. While you can make it work, it may not slide under the seat as neatly as expected.
