NEWS: Disney Cruise Line Is Slashing 2 Destinations

Disney just dropped some big news regarding the Disney Cruise Line!

Disney will officially END its New Zealand and Australian routes in the coming year. Let’s take a look at the news that just dropped!

Some breaking news just dropped today as the Disney Cruise Line posted a “fond farewell for now” on the DCL’s Australia and New Zealand Facebook and Instagram pages.

The message posted read:

“It’s a fond farewell for now: Make unforgettable memories during this last season in Australian and New Zealand waters, sailing from October 2025 – February 2026. Bring the whole family and your friends for an unforgettable holiday filled with Characters, stories and moments you will treasure forever.”

Looking at the fond farewell, the last season of sailings for the locations is set for October 2025 to February 2026. You hate to see such exciting destinations not be included with the Disney Cruise Line anymore, and with it coming to an end, Disney is calling fans to take advantage of the last season of sailings in the two countries.

The last sailings will be voyaged on the Disney Wonder. The Disney Wonder has around 30 planned sailings starting October 19th, 2025 — many coming in Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.

If you want to take one of the farewell sailings, Disney is making it easier for you, as many of them are included in one of the Disney Cruise Lines’ limited-time offers. All third and fourth guests in the same stateroom can join a cruise for 50% off.

It’s been in the air that the reason these sailings are coming to an end has nothing to do with guest feedback. In fact, the sailings coming to an end could be tied to the arrival of the Disney Adventure, which sets sail starting in December 2025.

The Disney Adventure is set to sail out from Singapore on December 15, 2025. Singapore will be the ship’s home port, but it may also sail to other locations in the Asia-Pacific region sometime in the future. The cruise will include so many cool experiences, such as Disney’s first-ever roller coaster at sea for Disney Cruise Line, he first-ever Duffy and Friends show and store, the Marvel Style Studio, a Disney Princess afternoon tea, and so much more!

After the final Australia and New Zealand sailing in February 2026, the Disney Wonder will begin travelling to Hawaii and Vancouver, before returning to San Diego in March 2026.
