Lots of rain!
Unexpected weather can hit Disney World at any time, and by that we mean lots and lots of rain. Storms are something that can really impact your Disney trip — from closed attractions to killing the vibe. We’re keeping an eye on the latest weather to see if anything could impact your vacation, and lately, it looks like there are two areas of interest in the Atlantic.
Don’t want to go through all of the stress of booking your Disney World trip alone? Reach out to our friends at Small World Vacations! Their experienced agents monitor your reservation for possible future savings, compare discounts and figure out which one works best for your travel party, dates, resort, and touring plans. And, they share expert tips and first-hand advice with you about your magical vacation.
According to the National Hurricane Center, there are two areas of interest that have formed in the Atlantic. One disturbance has a 90% chance of forming a cyclone in 7 days, and the other has an 80% of forming a cyclone in 7 days.

It was reported that, “Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with an elongated area of low pressure located several hundred miles east of the Leeward Islands continues to show signs of organization. Environmental conditions are forecast to be favorable for further development, and a tropical depression is likely to form later today or Thursday while the system moves west-northwestward to northwestward into the western tropical Atlantic, well north of the Leeward Islands.”

The National Hurricane Center has stated that it will continue to monitor the two disturbances in the western Atlantic. We’ll be keeping up with the weather news to make sure we can update you on anything that could impact those Disney days.

Rainy day in Disney World
Despite it not being summer anymore, we are currently in hurricane season over at Disney World. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th. Make sure to pack accordingly, and prepare for wet days at Disney World. Some attractions do close due to weather, so make sure to have a Plan B for any ride closures.
