Formula 1 Just Teamed up With Disney and We’re HERE for It!

We never thought we would need a Disney and Formula 1 team-up, but we’re glad it’s happening! The two brands are coming together to bring a one-of-a-kind celebration to the Las Vegas Grand Prix. It’s going to combine the thrill of the highest form of racing with the beauty that is Disney storytelling, AND they will deliver on an exclusive Formula 1 merchandise line.

Formula 1 is about to get a lot more magical, as Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto will all make for the high-speed action. There will be opportunities for fans to experience special Disney entertainment throughout the race weekend.

Take a look at what you can expect:

Fountains of Bellagio Show: Maestro Mickey Mouse will take the stage in front of the Fountains of Bellagio for a one-of-a-kind performance. This Disney Live Entertainment show will feature enchanting music and thrilling pyrotechnics.

Disneyland Band: The Disneyland Band is coming out to kick off race day and celebrate Disneyland’s 70 years with a magical performance of the National Anthem.

Community Day: Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will also bring Disney magic to a special community day focused on inspiring kids in Las Vegas.

Pitlane Walk: Formula 1 has also invited Mickey & Friends to join a special pitlane walk ahead of the qualifying race. F1 is offering select main grandstand ticket holders the chance to see the teams at work. For more, just click here.

Race day is on November 22nd, and you can watch it on ESPN!

That’s not all the F1 and Disney magic coming for fans. Sometime in early November, the Disney and Formula 1 merchandise line will make its debut! The line blends Mickey Mouse with the sleek style of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. You’ll find the brand-new collection on-site at the F1 Las Vegas Hub Presented by American Express inside the Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Keep an eye out online, because select items will be available on DisneyStore.com in North America. All we know is that there is a collection coming, but the collection hasn’t been revealed yet — more details coming soon.
