I go to Disney World every week, and there is something I have never, EVER gone to Disney World without — my trusty water bottle. Florida can get super hot during most vacations, and a full water bottle can save the day when it’s too hot.
But I hear you asking, “Which water bottle should I bring?” We’ve asked the team here at DFB, and one kept coming back — the iconic Owala water bottle. Most of our team swears by these, so let’s talk about why this might be the perfect water bottle for you.
First up, let’s talk about the incredible features of an Owala FreeSip! These water bottles are stainless steel, so they’re going to keep your water and ice cold, but considering most water bottles do that, what makes these so unique?
The cap! The mouthpiece is covered with a lid, so you only need to click a button to open it (aka no dirty fingers touching where your mouth will go). Inside, you can sip it with the straw or pour it bag and take a swig, too. We love having options, but having that covered mouthpiece that we can also close without touching it makes this a perfect bottle for Disney World.
But what size do you need? I thought this would be debated within the team, but nope, everyone agreed — the 24-ounce is the way to go. This fits easily in the side pouch of a backpack or inside a Loungefly Mini Backpack. It also doesn’t get too heavy, like the 40-ounce version, which some team members didn’t like when full. It’s big enough to keep you going without constantly stopping to refill, but not too big that it feels obnoxious.
One of our favorites is this Disney Princess Owala FreeSip.
Talk about pretty! This one represents Rapunzel, and we can’t get enough of it. Yes, we took a photo shoot of our water bottle because it’s just that pretty. The accents scream Rapunzel without being completely decked out with logos and pictures. It’s simple, elegant, and easy to carry around the parks.
There’s even a Princess Tiana Owala!
It’s perfectly green and looks like Princess Tiana’s dress, which makes us love it even more. There are tons of Disney Princesses to choose from, making it easy for the whole family to have their own without mixing them up. You could even get your favorite Disney Princess to sign it with a marker when you meet them.
My personal favorite is the Moana Owala.
Say that three times fast! This is great for our favorite chief, especially with the perfect shades of orange and teal. You can slide this on the side of your backpack and easily reach back to grab it, or slide up the handle and clip it to a bag or stroller.
