In Disney World, magic is abundant, and pixie dust is everywhere! There’s also quite a bit of rain, sweat, and tough crowds.

FuelRod
When it comes to packing for Disney theme parks, it can feel like you need to pack 100 things to cover all of your needs, but that’s not how we roll here. When we’re worrying about essentials, we prioritize these 4 items because they have saved us over and over again!
Packing for Disney World feels like an Olympic sport, and we are gold medalists at this point. We have learned through hard-won experiences like getting caught in a downpour, phones dying when we need them most, and feeling like we’re melting on the sun itself. If you have these 4 items, you won’t need to worry about any of that!
Frogg Togg Ponchos
If you’ve EVER heard us talk about rain gear for Disney World, we would be 100 ponchos that you’ve heard us talk about the Frogg Togg. These ponchos have changed our days in the parks when rain is on the horizon. They’re nice and flowy, so you don’t feel like a steamed baked potato during those summer storms. It has a 100% waterproof seam, so we stay nice and dry. It is also quick drying, so you can fold it up and put it back in its carrying pouch once the clouds go away.
FuelRod Portable Chargers
Going to Disney World these days requires quite a bit of technology if you’re hoping to truly maximize your trip. Your phone now holds your tickets, Lightning Lane passes, mobile orders, waittimes, and so much more. Plus, we are taking photos and videos on it to save those memories! FuelRods are small but mighty because they’re portable chargers that you can swap out once they’re finished. The swap is free in the Disney parks, and it has saved us on multiple occasions when we needed it most.
MultiCharger for our MagicBands
Speaking of charging things, we have a lot of devices to charge ahead of our park days! MagicBands have been added to that list more recently, thanks to the newest version called MagicBand+. Disney hotel rooms have improved when it comes to outlets over the last few years, but when we’re with a group, we often find ourselves running out of places to plug in. This MultiCharger for MagicBands has been a BIG saver in that department. It has 4 USB outlets, and we’ve used it for our MagicBands, portable chargers, and more.
Mini Handheld Fans
This mini handheld fan feels like water in the middle of a desert on a hot theme park day. Not only does this little fan have 12-19 hours of cooling time, but it also has several additional uses. We love a multifunctional tool in this household! It also has a backup charger in the fan, which we have used in a pinch, and a flashlight! It folds up so it takes up very little room in your bag, and it’s easy to pull out whenever the heat becomes too much.
There are lots of things we like to pack for Disney to make our trips easier and stress-free, but these four things are absolutely nonnegotiables! If you ever needed saving, they’ll be here for you. Be sure to keep following DisneyFoodBlog for more packing lists and items that have been fully tested!
