Summer is just a few short weeks away, and it’ll be here before we know it (considering we somehow blinked after New Year’s Day and it’s already APRIL, like what the heck).

There are lots of fans out there on the market, but let’s be real — not all of them are made equally. If you’re someone who carries around a lot of heat, especially on hot days, and you need a fan that’s POWERFUL and will actually keep you cool, we highly recommend the AMKEN Waist Fan.
AMKEN Waist Fan
This fan can be used three different ways — clipped onto your waistband (especially helpful if you hold a lot of heat around the back of your body), around your neck, or it can be propped up on a table to blow right at you. Now, this is larger than many other fans, which also means it’s heavier and bulkier, but if you need something that will really keep you cool, and that’s the most important thing to you, then this is absolutely the fan for you.

It’s also important to note that this fan is also a bit louder than others, since it is more powerful, so while it’s not wildly loud to disturb the people around you, it’ll cause a pretty constant buzz that we know may bother some people. If you’re concerned about that, or if that concern is more important than staying super cool, this may not be the best fit. This is true even if you’ve got it on its lowest setting, but, of course, the higher the setting, the louder it is.

Not to mention it’s also shockproof and fall-proof, it has a flashlight, has red and blue warning lights, and has a really large battery capacity. It’s definitely the fan we recommend for the heat of summer, and it’s worth the extra space it takes up in your bag!
