CHANGES Hit Disney World App – And, We Think You're Going To Love It

Disney, we cannot thank you enough for this app change. We’re not being dramatic when we say we’ve waited years for this change and will never, ever go back to the old way.

If you’ve ever made a park reservation, you might have noticed how annoying it is to use the app, but then be linked to an outside website to actually make the reservation. Lucky for us, making park reservations just got so much easier.

You can now make park reservations in the Disney World app! You don’t have to go to an additional website. Finally!

You’ll pick your guests…

…and your park, just like normal.

Boom! Park reservation made, all without leaving the app. This has to be one of the best changes Disney has made to the My Disney Experience app, and making reservations just got so much easier. This is currently for Annual Passholders and guests with non-dated tickets, since those with date-based tickets will pick their dates when purchasing.

While many guests find the park reservation system to be unnecessary and limiting, it doesn’t seem that Disney is ready to let go of the system quite yet, especially with these new app changes. While it doesn’t happen every day, we see park reservations filling up for Annual Passholders for big days like Passholder previews for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
