Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most iconic Disney IPs other than the mouse himself. The classic Disneyland ride has spawned four additional rides, five blockbuster movies, and now, a brand-new immersive theater show!
The immersive theatrical experience will bring the first film of the movie series, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, to life with interactive sets plus live performances, music, and stunts. The audience will become part of the story themselves!
“Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure” will sail into London in February 2027 with an initial 10-week run. It will feature cinematic-scale sets, live theatrical performances, stunts, and a live band. Performances will be held at Secret Cinema’s newly announced flagship venue at Greenwich Peninsula in London. Exclusive presale access sign-ups are now open, and general sale tickets will launch on June 1st, 2026.
“Get ready for high jinks on the high seas! With epic aerial stunts, fearless swordfights, and a cast of your favorite swashbuckling pirates, where better to invite audiences than raucous Tortuga and aboard the Black Pearl for the ultimate cinematic adventure: Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean,” said Merritt Baer, artistic director of Secret Cinema and co-founder of TodayTix. The show is produced by Secret Cinema and TodayTix, and licensed via Disney Theatrical Group.
“At Disney Theatrical Group, we are exploring bold new ways to expand our storytelling beyond the proscenium and into immersive, shared experiences,” Angelo Desimini, Disney Theatrical Group’s senior VP for licensed partnerships, added. “Pirates of the Caribbean is a franchise powered by adventure, music, and iconic characters, making it a world that naturally invites audiences to step inside it. Secret Cinema’s extraordinary craftsmanship and narrative ambition make it an ideal collaborator. Together, we are reimagining how fans engage with this beloved property, not as spectators but as participants in a live experience that is communal, cinematic, and unmistakably Disney.”
