Yep, This Drink in Downtown Disney Is Going To Be a New Fan-Favorite

Downtown Disney is one of the best ways to start your Disneyland trip. We love to check into our hotel in the morning and then spend the afternoon and evening eating, drinking, and shopping around the district.

The shopping area is full of well-known brands, Disney-created stores, and local restaurants, and together they make a perfect combination of things you know, with more to try. A new drink is hitting the menu at one of the restaurants, and we are so excited.

Starting on July 14th, you can grab the Little Red Dragon at Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney. It’s a bold, spicy-meets-tropical cocktail and will only be available at this location.

Crafted with Din Tai Fung’s signature chili oil-infused Ilegal Mezcal, the cocktail is shaken with bright pineapple, fresh lime and agave, then finished with a sesame Tajín rim for the perfect balance of smoky, sweet, citrusy heat.

While you’re at Din Tai Fung, make sure you grab some of the buns! We’ve tried a few throughout the years, and one of our favorites is the Kurobuta Pork Buns. Seriously, look how pretty they are.

The Shrimp and Pork Spicy Wontons are pretty fun too. We love the kick of the spice and how the wontons were light and fluffy with plenty of filling.

Okay, we also really like the Chicken Dumplings here. What can we say? You really can’t go wrong here and we love to dive into wontons, pork buns, bao, and dumplings.

Make sure you grab the Little Red Dragon while you’re there. We love specialty drinks, especially if they’re only there for a limited time. It makes every sip feel a little bit more special, and that’s what a Disney trip should be — special and magical.
