A live-action Tangled movie has been in the works, and we finally have a new update that is making us sing “I Have a Dream” all day long. Okay, it’s actually having us sing “Mother Knows Best” because Kathryn Hahn took the stage at the 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event to share the opening date for the live-action film: March 31st, 2028.

Teagan Croft will be playing Rapunzel, and she looks great for this role. She played Raven on the DC series Titans.

Flynn Rider will be played by Milo Manheim, who was in Zombies and played Seymour in a revival of Little Shop of Horrors.
