The Disney Wish joined the Disney Cruise Line fleet in July 2022, and she will be joined on the seas by the Disney Treasure in December 2024. And soon after, these two Wish Class ships will add a third, when the NEW Disney Destiny sets sail in 2025!
The Disney Destiny will be a sister ship to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, and Disney revealed that the ship will have a first-of-its-kind design theme.
Disney Destiny Theme
Aboard the Disney Destiny, you must choose a side: Heroes or Villains.
The ship’s theme will be inspired by Heroes and Villains and will draw “on the legacies of beloved Disney stories, characters, and theme park attractions.”
According to Disney, Imagineers were “inspired by the dynamic duality of every great Disney story when developing this new ship, where opposing forces of light and dark drive characters to rise to their purpose.” Look out for both heroes and villains onboard the ship, including characters from The Lion King, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, and Hercules. Disney teased new spaces, experiences, and entertainment on the ship inspired by the heroes and villains of those popular Disney films.
Disney Cruise Line released a preview of the artwork on the bow of the ship.

Disney Destiny Size and Capacity
Similar to the other two ships in the Wish Class, the Disney Destiny should hold up to 4,000 passengers in about 1,200 staterooms. The ship’s gross tonnage will be about 144,000, and the ship will measure 1,119 feet long and 128 feet wide.
Disney Destiny Construction and Milestones
The Disney Destiny has already reached an important construction milestone in the German shipyard where the Destiny is under construction: the Keel Laying ceremony, featuring a special Minnie Mouse coin!
Disney Destiny Timeline
Currently, the ship is scheduled for delivery in 2025 and will join the Disney Cruise Line’s new fleet of ships, including the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and the Disney Adventure, which will have a homeport in Singapore. Stay tuned for booking information and a sailing timeline!
