EPCOT has more restaurants than any of the other parks, so you wouldn’t expect it to be without a character dining option or two.
Please Note: During the initial reopening phase of the Walt Disney World Resort, only a few modified Character Dining experiences are offered. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is NOT currently open; however, Garden Grill in EPCOT’s World Nature is. You can find all of the current options for Character Meals in Disney World here, and we will continue to update these pages as this situation evolves and more Character Meals return to the Resort.
Epcot typically has two offerings for character dining:
Dine with Disney Royalty at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall! Though you never know exactly which Princesses you will meet, Princess Storybook Dining presents beloved characters such as Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Mulan, Cinderella, and/or Mary Poppins. Bear in mind that the princesses rotate and not all of them will be there on your visit. Also be aware that the offerings here are a bit more exotic than you might expect at some of the other character meals, with a focus on Scandinavian fare as a nod to its home in the Norway pavilion. (Breakfast is probably the safest bet for picky eaters.)
The Garden Grill gives you the chance to see Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale at Chip ‘n Dale’s Harvest Feast while you dine in The Land pavilion in World Nature! (This is actually one of the few places to find Mickey in EPCOT.) The food is all-you-can-eat American food served family-style, and can be a good place for youngsters. We have enjoyed this experience for years; it rarely disappoints!
