Mickey Mouse in his Steamboat Willie form entered the public domain at the beginning of 2024, but before even that, Winnie the Pooh became public domain back in 2022. Now that Disney no longer exclusively owns the rights to Winnie the Pooh, people have been doing some WILD things with his image…including making horror films!
