Kringla Bakeri og Kafe

Nestled in a quaint little Norwegian village with specialty shopping, a high seas troll-laden Viking Ship adventure, and cobblestone pavilion is the Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, or “Kringla” for short. Sweets smells from Kringla fill the air of the entire Norway pavilion, enticing guests to stop in for lunch or a sweet snack with international appeal.

One of the biggest draws to Kringla are the freshly baked desserts, easily viewed from glass display cases. Popular favorites like School Bread, the Cloudberry Horn, and Lefse (which is traditional potato bread with butter and cinnamon sugar) are sure to please your sweet tooth. If you plan on stopping at the Kringla for a quick service meal, the bakery offers a variety of sandwiches and small dishes including a Norwegian club sandwich with potato and a goat cheese and vegetable tort. Scandinavian specialty drinks are also available at this location; Carlsberg beer and Viking Coffee (Kamora Coffee Liquet and Baileys Original Irish Cream) are featured. Seating is open-air but under the protection of a roofed patio.

Important Info:

  • Try the School Bread, which is a soft pastry filled with sweet vanilla cream and topped with coconut.
  • The Norway Pavilion opens at 9:00 am thanks to the debut of the Frozen Ever After attraction in June of 2016 (the majority of World Showcase opens at 11:00 am, with a few exceptions). So, Kringla Bakeri is one of the few World Showcase stops that serves breakfast!
