Frozen 2 spirals into theaters on November 22 and with all the fun treats it’s inspiring in the Disney parks, it’s time for us to get to tasting!
A ton of new Frozen 2 treats are flurrying around Disney World, sooo we’re making it our mission to decide which ones are worth melting for and which ones we’d rather say “let it go” to. We’ve already tasted the NEW Frozen 2 Water Spirit Cupcake and Caramel Mousse, but now it’s time to try another fun-themed Frozen treat!
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is a staple of the Norway Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase and that’s probably because of the delicious mix of traditional and modern pastries that are available inside. With the change of seasons and upcoming Frozen 2 film, we’ve seen a new Fall Cheesecake at Kringla that features a familiar happy snowman.
Although this cheesecake is super cute and has a pretty mix of fall colors, we have to say that this dessert is not worth melting for. Although it looks like it might pack some tasty fall flavor like pumpkin or apple, the flavor of this cheesecake is actually…lemon??
Now, it is a tasty lemon cheesecake but we’ve seen it before at Kringla. You might remember the Spring Lemon Cheesecake that debuted a few months ago? Well, this Fall Cheesecake is the same light lemony cheesecake just with different food coloring and Olaf on top. It’s a good dessert, we just would’ve liked to see some variety in flavor.
Read our full Spring Lemon Cheesecake review here!
We do love the little Olaf white chocolate piece though, even if ours was feeling a little droopy!
All in all, if you love lemon, this Fall Cheesecake might be the way to go. But, if you’re seeking fall flavors it’s probably a good idea to snag the Caramel Mousse at Kringla instead.
