We’re going to figure out, once and for all, which is the Best Disney World Bakery! They’re all known for their specialties, so here comes the Disney Food Blog’s Disney World Bakery Throwdown!
Over the next month (December 15 – January 15), I’ll be highlighting 5 bakeries in WDW: Main Street Bakery, Boardwalk Bakery, Starring Rolls, Boulangerie Patisserie, and Kringla Bakeri og Kafe.

SCHOOL BREAD MF’ER!!
A pity it isn’t there anymore, but when the Fountainview was a bakery, that was well up there on my list. They used to have this white chocolate and raspberry cake that was simply divine. And for whatever reason (maybe just the Epcot influence), the normal cheese danishes that you can get anywhere tasted so much better sitting on the porch there watching the fountain.

JulFromMD — I absolutely would have included the Fountainview if it wasn’t mostly ice cream these days. I agree that it used to be wonderful, and that view is outstanding.
Is it bad that I voted for Kringla in part because the CMs there are drop-dead gorgeous?
Ha ha ha!! Mush, that’s the best reason I’ve heard so far! How can you beat drop-dead gorgeous CMs AND school bread?!
