I know you have outlined it in your terms listed above but it bears repeating. You must pre-purchase the Disney Photo Pass book for about $100.00 in order to get the free dining plan offer. You can not request to have the book removed.
And of course it is not combinable with any other previously reserved promotion: seasonal room discount, kids free tickets, AAA, etc.
its worth noting that if you stay in a value room you can upgrade to the Regular dining plan for a fee.. which last year still worked out cheaper then upgradeing to a moderate resort.
It’s such a bummer that DVC members aren’t able to take advantage of this…it’s really a slap in the face…
I just wanted to say thanks for the heads up on this. I had made reservations back in February for a trip beginning September 24, 2011. At the time the promotion was 40% off select hotels. I called this morning to see if I could switch to the free dining plan and I saved over $100! There’s nothing I love more than delicious free food and saving money 🙂 Thanks Disney Food Blog!
Can Florida Resident passholders take advantage of this?
Megan — Florida resident passholders would have to book a full price vacation to get the free dining. Same as regular annual passholders. Unfortunately, you can’t double up on discounts with this one.
