Ready for the 2012 Epcot Food and Wine Festival?? Come check out all of the latest details here!

The 2011 Epcot Food and Wine Festival was AWESOME! Be sure to check out all of our Epcot Food and Wine Festival Pages for the reviews and details from 2011 (many of which will repeat in 2012!). But it’s always fun to start planning for next year!
Luckily, Stitch Kingdom spotted and passed on the info that the 2012 Epcot Food and Wine Festival will be taking place from September 28-November 11, 2012! As always, that opening date is the last Friday in September, so if you’ve been making plans to visit the same week every year, you’re A-OK to plan next year as well!
Also, our guess is that if a 2012 Wine & Dine Half-Marathon happens, it will be on September 29th, the first Saturday of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
We’ll see you there! But for more information about the 2011 festival, check out our 2011 Epcot Food and Wine Festival index!

I’m thinking of going on an Alaskan Cruise next year and my friend wants to go to Greece. Disney will not be in the budget if these occur. 🙁
Woohoo!!! Planning to celebrate my 40th birthday by running the half-marathon and then enjoying F&WF for the first time. Hope to see you there, my friend!
JoAnn — I hope you’ll be able to go to Disney World, but the Alaskan Cruise and Greece aren’t half bad!
Shayne — Wouldn’t it be silly if we had to fly to Florida to touch base? 🙂
Hi! I’m usually a regular at the Festival (and love it) but i couldn’t make it this past year… I heard there was a cookbook with all the recipes from the food and wine festival sold and was wondering what it was called. Google, Disney.Go, and any other blog (for that matter) has not mentioned the cook book. Any ideas? Your help would be most appreciated
Hey DD! Yep, they sell a cookbook every year. You can see a pic of it, as well as the sku number, here: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2011/09/30/first-look-2011-epcot-food-wine-festival-merchandise/. It doesn’t have ALL of the recipes in it, but it has a good sampling of old and new F&W Festival recipes. Folks were able to purchase the cookbook on DisneyStore.com this year, so check there. If they’re sold out, you could try Disney World Mail Order (see details here: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/disney-dining-references/#ordering). If that doesn’t work, ebay is the only spot where you can get one. I’ll also be doing a giveaway of a cookbook here on the blog at some point, so if you can’t find one on ebay, stay tuned to the DFB!
Looks like they will be holding the Food & Wine Half-Marathon at the end of the FWF instead of on the opening weekend this year. A bummer for my wife, the runner in the family, who was hoping to run it on our visit the first week of October this year.
Mark — I’m pretty annoyed at that, too!
Just wondering if you have any idea about when we will be able to get details and start making reservations for the 2012 Food and Wine Fest? My husband and I are planning a trip this Oct again, but last year we didn’t plan it until a month or so before we left, so we sadly missed out on a lot of the classes we wanted to do bc they were already booked. We did catch a class by the guy from Milagro which was outstanding, and so now I really want to make sure we get to go to several more of these classes!!!
Thanks for any help,
Nicci
Hi Nicci — Usually info starts coming out in April/May. Details about the seminars and demos comes out in July/August. Details about the world showcase booths comes out in June/July. 🙂
AJ, Thanks!! We are so excited, well I am at least, it’s too early for hubby to really be into it. So, I can’t wait to get all the info and start planning all the great things we will get to do!!
For anyone who’s never done the Food and Wine Fest, I have 1 bit of advice, Spring for a seminar/demo/class. They are so much fun, you get to sample yummy drinks and/or food, and learn great tips for making the dish or drink at home. We did a mixology class and I’ve made 2 of the 3 drinks so far and they been HUGE hits with fam and friends!! Well worth the extra money.
Hi we are frequent Disney visitors, but have never done the food and wine festival. We are seriously thinking about going. Where can we find info about the different classes they offer?
Hi Lisa! You can watch our 2012 Epcot Food and Wine Festival link for all the details when they’re available!
