About.com Theme Parks finds Via Napoli’s pizza disappointing. (Sigh… I disagree…)

On one of trips to Disney World, we treated our grown up kids to a scavenger hunt at the Magic Kingdom put on by an outside company which was fantastic. While I waited on the sidelines watching my children happily trying to trample over each other trying to find objects, I treated myself to a coffee and waffle. Holy camoley!!!!!! I said to myself, us older moms still talk that way, that was the best waffle I ever had!!!!! I went back to the snack shack and looked at their waffle iron, made a note in my mind, and went on. When we got home, I made a quest of trying to find the “right” waffle iron to duplicate those wonderful Mickey waffles and finally found it. It is a Waring Pro. I now have a taste of Disney in my kitchen!!! Thank you for your blog, now I know what we’re having for breakfast!!!!!!

Judy, thank you!!! People have been trying to crack the code on Disney waffles for a long time — you’ve gotten us one step closer! Have a great breakfast! 🙂

I was disappointed in via Napoli. Maybe it’s being in an area you can get great pizza anytime, but I wouldn’t waste a credit in there again, and if I had to pay those prices?? We had other issues, but we went soon after it first opened, so I hope those have been fixed
AJ says
Heather — Bummer! I hear lots of positive reviews, so hopefully it’s gotten through the growing pains that you experienced. 🙂

AJ, I am from near New Haven, CT and other than the prices (and lets be realistic this is Disney), I enjoyed Via Napoli. I grew up on this style pizza. The thing, I think, people need to remember when complaining that the crust is not done enough is that most people in this country would see any char on their crust and send it back saying its burned.
