Along with the addition of the new Red Trolley Line at Disney California Adventure comes an adorable line of candy to go with it.
These “Trolley Treats” can be found all over DCA. Their cute packages make them pretty irresistible!
Available candies include Mickey shaped red licorice, taffy, a nostalgic candy mixed bag, and rainbow lollipops. All items are priced at $4.95.
I haven’t tried them yet, but I love the look of the Mickey Shaped Licorice. I’m curious to see if they have more of a Red Vines type or taste, or if they are more strawberry in flavor like Twizzlers. I’m not a Twizzlers fan, so I hope they taste like Red Vines. Their shiny luster worries me though — very Twizzler-esque.
The bag of mixed taffy is your standard “buy by the pound” type of salt water taffy seen in candy shops. The bag appears to have a pretty wide variety of flavors, so I’m sure there’s something for everyone in this bag for the taffy lovers in your life.
The nostalgic candy mix includes favorites like Jolly Ranchers, Atomic Fire Balls, & Smarties.
And last but not least, I think these rainbow lollipops would put a smile on anyone’s face. The graphics, the colors; everything is perfect about them. They’d make a perfect souvenir to take home for yourself or someone you love!
So whaddya think? Which one’s coming home with you from Disney California Adventure on your next visit?
Have you come across the Trolley Treats candy line yet? Who’s tried the licorice? I need to know: Red Vine-ish or Twizzler-like???

I’ve tried the Mickey shaped licorice at WDW before and it didn’t really taste like Red Vines or Twizzlers. They were just really good and super cute because they are really small and are shaped like Mickeys head!!
Thoes look like fun, do you know if they will be selling them at WDW too?
if so I will be buying them.
🙂
Very cute.. wish they had more original candies than jolly ranchers, though! Luckily, I’m a twizzler lover, so I’d be all about those mickeyS!
rebecca – did they have a licorice flavor at all? i hate licorice/anis flavors but these are cute so i want to eat them.
@Rebecca – I wonder if these are the same ones only with different packaging?
@Jenny – I don’t think they will have the Red Trolley packaging, but maybe Goofy’s Candy Company makes something similar.
@Jenn – I thought that at first too, but I think they are going with “classic” type nostalgic candies.
@Anderson – I can’t stand black licorice flavor either. I’m 99% positive that they are not that flavor.
The licorice bites taste like Twizzlers to me. They have that same weird “fake” texture, and a very similar artificial flavor. My boyfriend loved them, but he loves Twizzlers. They weren’t terrible, but I would have preferred a more authentic red licorice instead.
And no, there is absolutely no licorice/anise flavor in them.
Does anyone know exactly were this is in Disneyland?
@Graham – This is actually at Disney California Adventure. On Buena Vista Street.
