Remember the big news a few weeks back announcing some of the additions on the way with the continued expansion of Disney Springs? It included the goods on some more new eateries making their way to the area formerly known as Downtown Disney, which are set to open in phases beginning May 15th — spots like Amorette’s Patisserie, the Coca-Cola Store, and a few more details about Sprinkles and its already-famous Cupcake ATM.
Well, it looks like the first of these new additions on the way will be (drum roll, please…) D-Luxe Burger! Disney has announced that this Disney-owned and operated gourmet burger-and-shake joint will open its doors to this western-inspired spot in May, set in the Town Center section of Disney Springs. Even better… they’ve shared some details on the MENU!
Lets start with the burgers, promising something for “every burger aficionado,” including traditional offerings like the Classic Cheeseburger topped with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and pickle; and a Barbecue Classic Burger, which tops the beef patty with a fried onion ring, smoked Gouda, bacon, BBQ sauce and lettuce.
Things begin to step outside the norm a bit as we take in the El Diablo Burger, a chorizo-and-signature-blend patty with fried banana peppers, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo as the toppers. The Southern Classic Burger will feature pimento cheese, lettuce and bacon along with a Southern tradition: fried-green tomato.
The “Cluck” Burger is a ground chicken patty with garlic herb sauce, avocado, lettuce, and tomato, while the house-made Veggie Burger patty will be coupled with Tzatiki, green bean salad, lettuce, and tomato.
Of course, what’s a burger without fries? The fresh-cut fries available at D-Luxe will be served with your choice of dipping sauces.
But I may be most curious about the Artisanal Gelato Shakes! Available flavors will rotate, but at any given time may include Vanilla, Chocolate, Raspberry, Strawberry, Salted Caramel, S’mores, and Cake. Floats will also be up for grabs, with Root Beer, Cherry Coke and orange on the list.
Then again, you may choose to wash your burger down with a hard soda, draft beer, cider, or “shakes with spirits” featuring Smoked Bourbon and Beer and Godiva Raspberry as options.
Oh, and this one. I think it might be the Smoked Bourbon and Beer. But no matter what it is, it’s got BACON sticking out of it.
Be sure to keep an eye out, too, for RED VELVET BURGER MACARONS! (Oh, and that ketchup you spy on there? It’s raspberry 🙂 ).
Who’s ready to queue up with me? Hope to see you at D-Luxe Burger in just a couple months!

I can’t wait to try it!! According to Disney, it will be a quick stop place to eat and I bet it will stay crowded. There won’t be any advanced reservations so there will be lines for sure. Disney says you’ll be able to eat inside or outside under cover. My mouth is watering already.
