2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Coverage
Epcot Food and Wine Festival World Showcase Booths
A record number 35 marketplace booths are set up on the promenade around Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon — and they once again stretch into Future World as well! Check them ALL out on our Food and Wine Festival Booth Index Page!
The Hops & Barley Booth, located in the American Adventure Pavilion, is a favorite stop for All-American eats — including smoked and grilled BBQ favorites.
The Smoked Beef Brisket and Pimento Cheese on Griddled Toast has been a DFB favorite for a couple of years now, and we’re so glad it’s back in 2017.
Did someone say Crispy Chicken?! We are all over this new addition to one of our favorite booths, Farm Fresh!
The Food and Wine Festival always comes through with some inventive vegetarian dishes as well. Last year, Spicy Hummus Fries from the Morrocco Booth were a DFB Best of the Fest Pick and we are psyched that they return this year!
The Brazil Booth has carved out a place on our perennial “must try” list, with delicious stews and a Crispy Pork Belly with Black Beans, Onions, Avocado, and Cilantro that pairs beautifully with Xingu Black Beer. In 2016, we couldn’t get enough of the Escondidinho de Carne — or “Little Hidden One” — Layered Meat Pie. So we’re super happy to see it back!
Free Marketplace Discovery Passports have become a tradition and a favorite way to keep track of all the must-have dishes on your list. In recent years, gluten free and vegetarian items have also been noted! In 2016, stickers replaced stamps as a time-saving measure.
Plot your course for the Marketplace Booths by picking up an Epcot Map, which designates the booth locations for the Festival.
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Special Events
From signature dinners to galas, culinary demonstrations to mixology and wine seminars, several high-end Special Events will be offered at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival this year!
Party for the Senses is always a fantastic Food and Wine Festival treat, and it returns with special themed nights in 2017.
Cheese Seminars and “What’s Cooking With” returns as well — and so does one of our favorite events of 2016, Behind the Scenes at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto!
Celebrity Chefs
Celebrity Chefs bring extra excitement to the festival. This year we welcome such notables as Carla Hall, Cat Cora, Buddy Valastro, and Jamie Deen for the “What’s Cooking With” series.
Look for your favorite chef during culinary demos and premium events as well as Disney and visiting chefs!
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Welcome Center
The Back to Basics series, free with your Epcot admission, returns in 2017! Look for this complimentary series to include “epicurean tips and tricks from the pros”!
Eat to the Beat Concerts
Throughout the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, popular bands from recent decades take the stage at the American Gardens Theater in the American Adventure Pavilion for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. These concerts are free with Epcot admission, and take place three times per evening.

Free with Epcot Admission
Free with Epcot admission are the Festival Center Back to Basics series, special book signings, Eat to the Beat concerts, cultural adventures, Marketplace Discovery Passport, and all attractions and park entertainment. Festival hours could again extend to 10pm on weekends!
Festival Merchandise
A full range of Festival merchandise will be available to commemorate your visit to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Items include apparel, glassware, kitchenware, magnets, all bearing logos of the Festival and its attractions. In addition, look for upscale collections as well, like designer handbags. These always sell out quickly!
