You know it! You love it! You have to have it! It’s Dole Whip (affectionately called Pineapple Soft Serve a lot of the time), and it’s been a staple of Walt Disney World for years. Of course you know where you can find it in Adventureland at Aloha Isle (Disney World) and the Tiki Juice Bar (Disneyland) in the shadows of the Tiki Room (you can even bring your sweet treat inside to eat during the show!).
But over the years, the popularity of this vegan and gluten-free frozen treat has persuaded the Disney food gods to expand its availability, and now there are more places than ever to grab your Dole Whip, Dole Whip/Vanilla Swirl, or Dole Whip Float — outside of the parks! No Magic Your Way tickets required!
A while back, we let you in on the Whip’s brand new appearance at Pop Century Resort, which means you can begin and end your day with Dole Whip if you so choose. You can also pick one up at Pineapple Lanai at Polynesian Village Resort, where it’s been located for a few years. (It was previously an amazing serve-yourself option at Captain Cook’s; alas, now a Cast Member dispenses it so no more mountainous piles of pineapple goodness.)
You can also find SPIKED Dole Whip at BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas at Disney’s BoardWalk, The Drop Off Pool Bar at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, or Bamboo Bar at Splitsville. Yum!
If you’re at Disney Springs, look no further than Marketplace Snacks for your Dole Whip fix.
We’ve also spotted the Whip at Wide World of Sports! So if you’re on hand for any of the sporting events that go down there, you can still enjoy the refreshment of pineapple soft serve.
And west coast friends, fear not! You can get your Dole Whip fix at Disneyland Hotel’s Tangaroa Terrace!
And of course, you can find Dole Whip at Aulani — Disney’s Vacation Club resort on Oahu! Annnnnnd we hear tell that you can also get one at the Beach House at Disney’s Hilton Head Resort!

Dole Whips can also be found at the Beach House at Disney Hilton Head.

It won’t be a float, but if you have a Sweet Frog nearby, the pineapple flavor is exactly like a Dole Whip! Plus at Sweet Frog, you have the option of toppings. Just throwing it out there for anyone who needs their Dole Whip fix outside of WDW.

It works quite well!!!

Do NOT have the Dole whip in Palm Springs! The place says its DW and even says just like Disneyland! It tastes like chemicals, not creamy in texture but like melted bad popsicles, horrible after taste.

You can also get Dole Whip at the Dole Plantation on Oahu in Hawaii!

It definitely tastes best at P Lanai with hawaiian music playing in the background! Had 3 this last week, 1 in MK and 2 at Poly where we stayed, something about that music playing in background!
Tim says
Can you still park for free at the Polynesian resort just to run in and get one? or do you have to have other reservations to be able to park now?
DFB Sarah says
Tim, as far as we know, you can check in at the security check point and tell them you are heading to Pineapple Lanai without a reservation somewhere else at the resort. Disney often specifies a three-hour limit for such visits. Hope this helps!

The Santa Cruz Boardwalk has a dole whip stand.
