This sounds incredible! I honestly thought it would be even more expensive. Finally a Disney tour I’d actually consider taking!
Erica says
This seems like it should be at Epcot? MK is not exactly known for their food…weird.
Jennifer Gregory says
I will definitely be awaiting a review of this!!
Laurene says
Darn, a week after we are there!
Jolene Correll says
I’m in! I just registered for the tour on opening day! Oddly, it starts at 9am, but I am so looking forward to learning more about the food and chefs at MK.
DFB Sarah says
Jolene, have a great time!

Booked!! Thanks so much for the heads up, I am always looking for behind the scenes ‘to do.’ We have 3 specials scheduled for our May 2019 Trip & 1 more planned, Just need to wait for it to open up. Anyone know if epcot has a fireworks dessert party next year/May available? I called and the CM couldn’t find one.
DFB Sarah says
Holi, the Frozen Dessert Party for IllumiNations viewing is booking into March right now, but we expect it will be extended further into the year. But the caveat here is that they often wait until closer to the end of their current open window (March) to open for those later dates. You’ll have to watch DisneyWorld.com for availability. Have a great trip!

We’re booked for the tour the first weekend in April. We were warned that photography will not be permitted backstage, but pix will be allowed onstage. We can’t wait, and since we will have nibbled all morning we figured we would balance it out with dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern.
DFB Sarah says
Jason, sounds like an awesome Disney food day!
Kay says
Just booked this for our family in July. I actually called to ask if we will be going into Be Our Guest, but she said she could not promise anything, since the tours can change without notice. I am looking forward to reviews coming out to get a better idea of what we will get to see and taste.
Michelle O. says
My friend is a vegetarian. Would he be able to do this tour?
NickDVC says
BOOOOOOKED !
DFB Sarah says
For those wondering about substitutions on the tour (vegetarian and allergy-related), there were substitutions given at each stop where they were necessary. We did not see what those were, but the options exist! Note it when you reserve your spot!
