This year marks your last chance to see Epcot’s current nighttime spectacular, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. The show will end its run before the end of the summer of 2019 to make way for a brand new spectacular.
And now, a new Dining Package will soon be open for booking offering a meal with seating on the patio of The Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room in Epcot’s UK Pavilion from which to enjoy a fantastic view of IllumiNations along with a prix fixe menu of Rose & Crown favorites AND unlimited alcoholic (for guests 21 and over) and non-alcoholic beverages!
The meal inclusions for the IllumiNations Dining Package feature your choice of a Scotch Egg or the United Kingdom Cheese Platter for a starter. Entrée choices include Rose & Crown’s signature Fish and Chips, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Pan-roasted Scottish Salmon, or Bangers and Mash. And dessert will be a Pudding Platter Trio featuring Sticky Toffee Pudding, English Trifle, and Chocolate Nougat Bar.
See our most recent review of Rose and Crown Dining Room to see photos and reviews of many of these items!
For the kids, the meal will offer soup or salad with their choice of Cheese and Turkey Flatbread, Turkey Meatball Pasta, Cheesy Pasta, or Fish and Chips as well as either Fruit Salad or Trifle for dessert.
Here are the dates and details! Booking will open via the Disney World website or by calling (407) WDW-DINE starting January 17th for reservations starting on January 18th. The price is $85 for adults and $35 for children (tax and gratuity included). Epcot admission is required but not included.

Question… my family and I are traveling to WDW for the first time in May. I’ve already booked dining reservations at Rose and Crown per others recommendations. The plan was to request to be seated at the patio, so that we could view illuminations while enjoying dessert. Should I assume that this will most likely not be an option now that they are selling ‘dining packages’? Any suggestions on a back up plan for viewing illuminations? This will be our one and only time to see this show and was hoping to have a ‘guaranteed’ good view with out having to stand.
DFB Sarah says
Chelsea, here’s an older post with recommendations for IllumiNations viewing. I’ll add to this Spice Road Table, which has indoor and outdoor options. And there’s the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party (if/when the dates are extended to May), which is an extra cost but also includes a ride on Frozen Ever After (and sweet and savory food plus drinks). The dining package does appear that it will take up that patio space. Finally, if you do an internet search and look at images that folks have put together, you might find another location or idea that will work for you. In all likelihood, you’ll need to grab a spot early in these cases, but with May being a slightly less crowded time of year, you should still be able to enjoy the show! Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions. 🙂

Awesome!…Forget the food…They had me at Unlimited Snakebites! 🙂
Della says
Darn it, we have regular ADRs at Rose and crown for exactly this reason, in early february. Am I correct in my guess that it will use two DDP table credits? Or not allow DDP at all?
DFB Sarah says
Della, DisneyWorld.com says no dining entitlements will be accepted.
Gail says
Have 8:00 reservation for first week of April, with intention of watching fireworks. Also had dinner at R&C for Candlelight Processional. After mediocre food and service for that event, was seriously considering other options. Disney/Epcot/ R&C are making great strides in helping me with that decision!
Helen says
Has anybody got confirmation from Disney that those people with ADR’s already will not be allowed to go go the patio to watch illumations?
Sarah says
Hi AJ, two questions: one, do you think they’ll have allergy accommodations on the prix fixe menu (specifically gluten free)? And two, is this one of the restaurants that’s stringent about adults not getting a kids meal? I don’t want to drink and can’t eat much food. Thanks so much!
DFB Sarah says
Hi, Sarah! We would expect Rose & Crown would accommodate a gluten allergy. I don’t see their allergen menu posted online, but certainly they have options. As for a kids’ meal… that can be hit or miss depending on the restaurant and/or the server. Sometimes they’ll simply allow an adult to order from the kids’ menu, sometimes they’ll let you but charge for an adult and serve an adult size portion of the kids’ menu items, and sometimes they’ll just say no. Sorry I can’t be more helpful on that point. You can try calling the restaurant directly (1 407-939-3463) to see if they can answer your questions more specifically. Have a great time!

I notice there is no vegetarian option on the menu they released. They are likely to have a vegetarian choice available, right? It’s hard to imagine they wouldn’t, but I’d hate to get there and have nothing for the vegetarian in our party to eat. (Also, side note, often when I ask this question people helpfulky point out that they have fish. Vegetarians don’t eat fish. Fish are animals.) 🙂
DFB Sarah says
Cari, I would expect them to have at least one vegetarian option. If you want to call to confirm and/or find out what the options are, reach out to Rose & Crown directly (1 407-939-3463). Here’s the review from AJ’s last visit, where she tried a vegetarian option (if you want an idea of what they may offer).
Mike says
I had the same question about current ADRs as I have an 8pm next month at R&C. I called and spoke to a cast member, they told me there would be patio seating available for those with ADR’s. I would think the patio seating would be in higher demand at that point, so I plan on getting there 20 minutes early.
Marykate says
My daughter and I just booked this for early May – thank you for the heads up -it will be great to enjoy the final performances of illumination in the comfort of Rose and Crown. Also, I have never eaten there so looking forward to some Fish and Chips.
Sue Walker says
Good morning… my husband and myself will be celebrating my birthday in the first week of june and would enjoy a meal and show. 2 questions : when would a good time to make reservations and for which show? also how are you situated for mobility scooters? would like the patio also.. really looking forward to the wonderful food and show. Thankyou for your help
DFB Sarah says
Sue, click this link to see our preview/review of the IllumiNations Dining Package at Rose & Crown. You’ll want to make reservations as soon as that ADR window opens 180-days out. IllumiNations only runs one show per night, so that’s the one you’ll be assigned to. 🙂
Martine says
Hi, do you think they Will accept Tables In Wonderland for Illuminations Dining package?
Thank you!
Elaine says
Will we see a review of this experience soon??? I hope so! 🙂
DFB Sarah says
Elaine, we published a preview in mid-January when a DFB pal gave us a peek! Click here to read it!
Betty says
Will this package be available after Sept 30? How difficult is it to get reservations?
DFB Sarah says
Betty, no word on if they’ll maintain a package once Epcot Forever starts. As for how difficult the ADRs are: when I check random dates, some have availability and others do not. It’s worth checking to see if your dates are available!
