What’s this I spy with my little eye? Why, it’s a Gondola for the Disney Skyliner!
This new form of Walt Disney World transportation will start carrying guests this fall! We’ve been following construction progress on the various stations for the system which will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four Resorts: Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach and the upcoming Disney’s Riviera Resort.
But here at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios station is the first time we’ve spotted an actual gondola in place!
Though currently undercover, these will ultimately be revealed to showcase favorite Disney pals in the artwork.
Which Disney character would you most like to fly with through the Disney World skies?

I am so excited. We are going in September and will be staying at Pop Century! I hope we are able to experience them.
are these for wheel chairs and scooters
No air conditioning. The Austrian company who makes them said it’s not necessary. Maybe not in the Alps, but let’s see what these are like in August in Florida. Gonna be interesting.
I think it’s going to be very interesting to see how quickly they can disembark guests in inclement weather. Scary to be caught mid flight with an approaching storm.
Judy, there’s no official word on this yet. We’ll update when we get more info!
It scares me just to look at them. I will stick with the bus
I would assume high speed fans to keep airflow moving and assume backup if power goes down! Cue Spaceship Earth or Haunted mansion stopping mid ride! Can’t allow it to happen in 100+ degree summer weather right?
