Disney’s latest flash color trend is Dapper Yellow

, and it’s making a serious statement in this eye-catching spirit jersey. You know your pals at the DFB love a color trend; we’ve been on board with rose gold (and now Briar Rose Gold… click here for the details!), millennium pink, iridescent, and potion purple. But we gotta confess: we’re a little torn about this one!

Let’s just start with what we don’t love so much: Dapper Yellow is vibrant! Almost to a fault. Like in some instances it strains the eyes. We feel like we might resemble an egg yolk a little too closely when we wear the spirit jersey. But…

Where else can you wear a crazy bright color with reckless abandon and not give it a second thought, right? The brightness can surely be a positive, like when you’re separated from your crew, but everyone’s wearing egg yolk yellow so no probs you can find each other in the crowd.

And then there’s this factor: Mickey Mouse rocks some yellow shoes, and we all know that mouse has style. So while we’re a little concerned this shirt might compete too much with the bright Cali and Florida sun, overall, we’re in.
