We love visiting Epcot during the Flower & Garden Festival! On this trip, we checked in on a few of the festival’s limited edition eats and souvenirs, the construction happening around World Showcase and all the NEW merch that hit stores this week!
Remember, the 2019 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is ON through June 3, 2019 which is great new if you’re looking to grab that Orange Bird Sipper Cup…
What’s New in Epcot’s World Showcase
We’ll start off with some GREAT news — the Orange Bird Sipper Cup is back in stock! You’ll find this cutey over at The Citrus Blossom Outdoor Kitchen. This souvenir cup is limited to 1 per guest and you can purchase it either filled with Orange Cream Slushy or on its own.
The Artisanal Cotton Candy at the Lotus House Outdoor Kitchen in the China Pavilion continues to draw HUGE crowds!
On our most recent trip, the line was 13 people deep 40 minutes BEFORE opening! We’ve heard reports that lines are getting as long as 90 minutes on some days, so if you’re determined to get this limited-edition treat be sure to get there early!
Over at our favorite tequila bar — La Cava del Tequila — we spotted a new-to-us cocktail! The Cafe de Oaxaca is a frozen drink featuring Mezcal ilegal blanco, vanilla ice cream, cold brew coffee moonshine and agave nectar.
Over in the Norway Pavilion the waterfall is drained so you can currently see a hidden “easter-egg” most Epcot guests miss…
If you look closely at the waterfall you can spot a hidden Viking sword! Do you see it?!
We’ve got a little bit of construction at The American Adventure Pavilion. This project doesn’t look like anything too major, just a simple refurbishment.
Walls are still up around the on-going construction in the France Pavilion for the upcoming attractions and restaurants. The pavilion is getting a new creperie, a Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, and a Ratatouille attraction — Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure between now and 2021!
What’s New in Epcot’s Future World
Those Joffrey’s Mini Donuts we first spotted in Disney Springs have been popping up around the park, so we just had to check if they made it to Epot!
Alas, mini donuts have not arrived yet in Epcot. At least we can still enjoy the original Joffrey’s donuts until then. Read about our Disney Springs mini donut sighting here!
We also spotted a rare pop-up meet and greet with Cinderella! We can’t guarantee she’ll be visiting with guests on other days, but it’s worth keeping an eye out while you’re walking through Future World ????.
What’s New in Epcot Merchandise
If you’ve already picked up that Orange Bird Sipper Cup and you’re thinking to yourself, “How can I display my love of Orange Bird EVEN MORE?” — don’t worry, we spotted this adorable Alex & Ani Orange Bird bracelet over at Mouse Gear! You can read more about it here!
The newest edition of the Starbucks “Pin Drop” mugs were released this week! Let everyone know you’ve “Been There” with this new must-have Epcot mug featuring doodles of the park’s attractions.
Complete your collection with mugs from Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom — check them out here, here and here!
And finally, we scoped out the LATEST Disney color trend — Briar Rose Gold!
Mouse Gear and Gateway Gifts had the biggest displays; but the new ears were out everywhere, even on the freestanding merchandise carts.
You can check out the whole line here!
