Are you an Orange Bird fan?
If so, then you already know your usual destinations: Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom (the little Orange Bird’s original home) and — currently — Epcot, where you’ll find the Orange Bird represented with his very own souvenir cup at The Citrus Blossom Outdoor Kitchen for the 2019 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival.
Granted, you’ll find Orange Bird merchandise all over Disney World these days, from an Alex & Ani Bracelet to Orange Bird backpacks and wallets and more. But there is a new Orange Bird treat… and it’s located someplace you probably wouldn’t expect.
The Artist’s Palette in Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is currently serving up an Orange Bird Cupcake!
The Orange Bird Cupcake is $5.99 (or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit). The cupcake itself is simply vanilla, topped with a dome of bright orange-colored light and airy white chocolate mousse making up the lovable bird!
As for orange flavor, a bright burst of it really comes through in the whipped cream filling the cupcake.
And we’re sure the little Orange Bird wouldn’t have it any other way… and because this cupcake is both tasty and adorable, neither would we!

Looks awesome! We’ll be at SSR in late August. How long do these specialty cupcakes tend to last?

Dirk, it varies! I hope it’s there for you!

This looks great! I’m always happy to see more of my favorite, the little Orange Bird! Wish there was more of him In Disneyland, which is near where I live! Enjoy the delicious, cheery cupcake everyone!

Love, love , love anything Orange Bird themed. Years ago Sunshine Tree Terrace sold an orange danish that was beyond delicious. Always on the lookout for Orange Bird stuff.

By the way , Tina, I believe the 2 sugar wafers shoved in the side are to represent the Orange Bird beak. So cute! Would have loved to see eyes as well!
