Disney is constantly changing and growing… and sometimes growth comes along with some growing pains. While many changes are enjoyed and applauded, that’s not always the case. And we’re chatting about six changes Disney made that a lot of guests did NOT like (and a couple where opinions are still mixed) in our latest DFB YouTube Video!

Hi AJ and the whole DFB team! Thanks for all your great content! Coincidentally, I was discussing Figment a few days ago with a coworker. He asked me who the purple character was on my car magnet. The poor lad has been Disney deprived in his youth, and young adulthood, but plans on visiting once he can save up some. I, being an 80’s child who adored Journey Into The Imagination and the interactive area after, quickly filled him in on the wonder of what was. We could even meet Figment, and The Dreamfinder! I proudly sported my Figment hat all over the parks! All these years later, I still wonder why they messed with something that to me was great. Did so many really have a problem with the length of the ride? To me, if you’ve waited in line, it’s nice to have a ride that isn’t over before you know it! Oh well, one can only dream that someday they just go ahead, and return it to it’s original glory! I’ll still keep riding the replacement now and then, for old times sake! Also, I loved all of Pleasure Island, and what it stood for. It was a “coming of age” place for me, so to speak. I was even escorted out of there one night by Disney security, having been spotted enjoying a sip of my boyfriend’s adult beverage at 8TRAX(shame, shame ;). I was a couple months shy of my 21st birthday. I suppose in a way that it’s good PI was transformed into something totally different. It’s like we’re maturing together, onto a new stage of life-lol! Keep up the great work DFB!
