Bacon is one of the latest food trends sweeping its way across Walt Disney World Resort.
We’ve seen Chocolate-Covered Bacon, Bacon-Covered Strawberries, and the Temple of Bacon throughout the World. But NOW, there’s a NEW bacon treat at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort — Pineapple and Coconut Chocolate-Covered Bacon!
To us, this mixture of flavors seemed a bit strange…but oddly enough, we enjoyed the flavors! And it actually comes in as our second favorite new chocolate-covered bacon treat, coming in right behind the Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan Bacon.
The pineapple is candied and the coconut isn’t very sweet. BUT, the bacon had a smoky flavor that we liked. There was a LOT of chocolate molding these two pieces of bacon together. And each bite tastes a little different depending on the toppings you get.
You can find this, and lots of other bacon treats at Kona Island at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The Coconut and Pineapple Chocolate-Covered Bacon is $4 and sadly cannot be redeemed as a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. But, you now get two pieces of bacon instead of one…so that’s nice!
If you’re interested in trying this new bacon treat…you might want to hurry! It’s currently listed as a seasonal offering!
