Welcome back to another roundup of What’s New in Magic Kingdom!
We have a lot to cover today, including new and returning menu items (like the Minnie Milk Shake!), construction updates, and Halloween merchandise.
But before we fill you in on all the new stuff, we want to let you know that Disney has announced the line-up of Magic Kingdom’s Halloween treats, and you can check them out here! (P.S. — don’t the Halloween decorations look great?)
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Main Street, U.S.A.
has introduced the totally epic Minnie Milk Shake for $14.
This is a strawberry milkshake topped with a strawberry glazed donut, chocolate cookies, a chocolate Minnie bow, a strawberry ice cream cone, and whipped cream.
Overall, we enjoyed this shareable shake!

Tomorrowland
While we were in Tomorrowland, we noticed that the Super Lemonade was back on Cool Ship‘s menu. We saw that they didn’t have the fridge with bottled beverages but instead they had a cart. A Cast Member told us that it was broken but that it would be back up and running soon.
In Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, the Chili Cheese Fries have returned. You can grab them for $6.49 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit!
Multiple Locations
The bakery cases in Main Street Confectionery and Big Top Treats didn’t have any Halloween treats during our visit, but both locations had Dumbo and Rainbow items.
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Fantasyland
Construction on the Cinderella Castle walkway continues to move forward. Hopefully, it won’t be too long until the walkway reopens — we sure do miss the moat!
Tomorrowland
Construction is moving right along on the TRON coaster as well. The new attraction will open in time for Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021 and we can hardly wait!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Main Street, U.S.A.
In Uptown Jewelers, we noticed two Haunted Mansion-inspired necklaces we hadn’t seen before. You can grab a silver one for $100 or a fancy gold one for $125.
Which one is your favorite?
Also in Uptown Jewelers, we found some new Pandora charms!
We found a set of Haunted Mansion charms for $130…
…and a Cheshire Cat charm for $65!
In The Emporium (and Mickey’s Star Traders), we spotted some Love Comes in Every Color merchandise for 2019. We noticed a tank top ($29.99)…
…a tumbler ($19.99)…
…and a bright red shirt ($29.99).
The Emporium also had a snazzy new Halloween display, but we didn’t notice anything we hadn’t already seen in the parks.
Check out all the Halloween merchandise we’ve found in Disney World!
Fantasyland
Over in Big Top Treats, we spotted some new Halloween decorations we hadn’t seen before. We found a garland ($16.99)…
…and a Vampire Mickey yard flag ($24.99)!
Liberty Square
In Memento Mori, we spotted some new Haunted Mansion items, including a magnetic notepad ($9.99), a car magnet ($9.99), and a gargoyle bottle opener ($12.99)!

That moat construction has made Sleepy Hollow a nightmare! They blocked off both the dining area and most the space to wait for your order beyond the overhang. They aren’t the fastest of places, there is usually a back up of people waiting for food but now there is virtually nowhere to go and getting out with your food is really hard with no space and a lot of people waiting in the way. I had to try to eat my churro sandwich sitting on a bench because the few tables they had by the Tianna spot were full and when a family offered me their table, a CM dove in front of me to wipe absolutely nothing off it and someone tried to swoop in from the side to table jump me. On top of all that, the churro was rock hard, biting it shot ice cream out, cutting it was impossible with a plastic knife, I would never order it again. Sorry I didn’t get the nutella sandwich first because it was such an awful experience overall I refused to go back this trip and I love the nutella sandwich. They should close it during construction.
I am kind of puzzled by the love comes in every color items. I take it to mean that we should
love people of every color, which we should as our country has a terrible history of racial prejudice. I think the message would have been better served if rather than a rainbow they maybe had various skin tones. This would have shown: Love for all colors. Otherwise, I enjoyed the article. I, too, would miss the castle mosti if I were down there!
Essie, the rainbow is in support of lgqbt couples and gay pride, it has nothing to do with interacial couples or racism. By saying love comes in all colors it means there are many types of couples not just a man and a woman, love spans a multitude of pairings just like a rainbow contains all colors.
The rainbow is for gay rights, not about racism.
Melissa, thanks for the explanation. Yes, I have to say that there is too much hatred in that area, also. Some people just can’t live and let live….too much hate in our country and world.
