You’ve probably heard of Elf-on-the-Shelf, Santa’s super mischievous helper who keeps an eye on kiddos all Christmas season long! If you haven’t heard of him, Elf-on-the-Shelf is a book and accompanying pose-able doll. Basically, parents hide the elf around the house each night of December and kids delight in finding their friend each morning.
Well, last year, we found out there was a way to engage in this fun tradition Disney-style! As we went into the holiday season, we started spotting the mischievous Stitch-on-the-Shelf around Disney World. If you missed out on grabbing him last year, don’t worry! Because this naughty alien is back for 2019.
This toy comes in a package including the book Holiday Mischief with Stitch and an accompanying pose-able Stitch doll (much like with the original Elf-on-the-Shelf). Parents can read the stories to their kiddos and then let the fun ensue in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
In true Experiment 626 fashion, Stitch is wearing a hat that can be posed to be naughty or nice so he can get up to all sorts of antics in your home. We think he has the potential to be a fun and different holiday tradition for Disney-lovers.
Your kids will likely delight in spotting that mischievous wink around your home. But, beware! Many a-parent has tired of Elf-on-the-Shelf antics, so be ready to commit to delighting the little ones with their favorite blue alien when you buy.
We spotted Stitch-on-the-Shelf at Mouse Gear in Epcot and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him pop up in other stores around the parks. You can take him home for yourself with his accompanying story for $34.99! Share his with your Ohana and let us know what they thought!
