Over in Disney Springs, there are what feels like countless exciting dining opportunities to take part in. Sometimes it feels impossible to be able to experience them all!
That’s why we’re here! We’re in Disney World nearly every day and have been everywhere in Disney Springs so we can help you decide what places are best for you and your group. Recently we found out there’s a Martini Hour in the shopping and dining district, so you KNOW we had to check it out!
Over at Summer House on the Lake, one of the newest additions to the area, there’s a Martini Hour that takes place Monday-Friday from 3-6 PM at the bar area. It has its own special menu and everything!
This new offering sounded very intriguing to us, so we knew it was time to stop by! There are three different martinis you can get on the menu, all for $10 — the Classic, an Espresso Martini, and a Finn Collins. If you’re not into martinis, there’s also a great deal on Red, White, and Rosé wine, as well a rotating beer discount!
We decided to get two of the martinis to try, as well as see what their dining offerings had going on as well. We went with a Classic Martini as well as a Finn Collins. The Classic we decided to get with Vodka and we were asked if we wanted it dry or dirty (we went with dirty). We also were asked if we wanted stuffed olives on it, which was exciting! This was a fine classic martini — there wasn’t anything unusual about it, but it was made very strong, so keep that in mind.
As for the Finn Collins, this will definitely be the option for those who prefer sweeter drinks. That said, it is by no means overly sweet — the pour was strong so the gin shines through, and the flavor emphasis was more floral than “sugary” sweet. We picked up on the floral notes from the rose — we can’t say we picked up on any rhubarb, which was only disappointing in the sense that we thought it would add a more unique flavor element. Overall, though, we enjoyed it very much! We think the lemon, in particular, helps it to taste refreshing, too, and it has a nice summer feel to it.
For our dining options, we grabbed the Bottomless Truffle Fries for $10, which were bottomless for up to FOUR people!! We can’t get over how great of a deal that is, especially because the cup they’re served in is about as big as a McDonald’s large fry. Thess are relatively thin cut fries, and it was so aromatic when they were brought to the table. Honestly, it was hard to take the photos we needed to before we dove in, because the presentation was incredible!
They totally lived up to the hype — the fries were crispy, the truffle added that earthy flavor, and the sharpness from the parmesan was incredible. The aioli it was served with was delicious, and we honestly could have eaten it with a spoon! We did decide to get a second serving and certainly didn’t regret that. Overall, these were great and we highly recommend.
The other dining option we decided to try was the Lobby Cut Tavern Style Pizza for $12! Now, you can choose to add on sausage, pepperoni, or spicy giardiniera for an additional $3 each. This is the same pizza you’ll find on their lunch menu, which is AMAZING because on the lunch menu, it’s $19.95.
We loved the way this was cut, which was into bite-sized squares, and we loved the flavor. We were pleasantly surprised by the thin crust, and while it was simple, it was delicious. All the ingredients were very high quality, but we do want to point out that we did order it with sausage and it showed up on our bill that way, but our pizza was served without it. We were already eating it before we realized, and it was good regardless! This is certainly an offering that is best shared between 2-4 people, we certainly wouldn’t say its a dish someone would want to get on their own to eat by themselves.
We think this Martini Hour is absolutely a must-do if you’re looking for a fun Happy Hour to do in Disney Springs! The prices are incredible, the drinks and dining options are both delicious and won’t leave you disappointed, and we’re looking forward to when we get to go back again ourselves.

Bless your heart – a martini is 100% alcohol minus the splash of olive juice. Of course it’s strong.
