We simply can’t let it go because it seems like Frozen-fever is here to stay at the Disney Parks. With the upcoming release of Frozen 2, a swirling storm of Frozen-themed treats have made their way across the parks, including the delicious Hidden Truth Cupcake at Artist’s Palette and the very Fall-ready Pumpkin Spice Donut Tart at Contempo Cafe.
Today we’re heading over to the Beach Club Marketplace and The Market at Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort to check out a new treat!
The Dark Sea Chocolate Cake also known as Disney’s Frozen Chocolate Caramel Cake (almost) looks too pretty to eat! And this stunning marbled dessert holds a lot of surprises.
It features a chocolate cake with caramel cream cheese swirl, a dulcey chocolate mousse dome, glaçage, and a white chocolate glaze, topped with a show-stopping silhouette of a horse.
On first impression, we found the dulce chocolate mousse dome to be so good!! It managed to be rich, but not overly sweet. The chocolate cake was baked well, but we wished there had been a bit more of it to balance out all the flavors!
The caramel cream cheese, on the other hand, is super yummy, sweet, and flavorful. The caramel really comes through, far more so than the cream cheese. The white chocolate coating wasn’t our favorite part, buuut we guess you kinda need it to hold the yummy mousse in.
