Halloween only was on Thursday, but Disney World has already started transforming Magic Kingdom into a Winter Wonderland!
We’ve seen holiday phone cases, delicious treats, Tomorrowland Speedway’s seasonal overlay, the return of the Jingle Cruise, and news of the first castle lighting happening TONIGHT! But, lights have been strung and holly has been hauled ’cause one of our favorite Christmas decorations has been put up in the park!
We’ve got a sentimental feeling looking at the gorgeous Christmas tree at the top of Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom!
The tree is wrapped in popcorn garlands, red and green ornaments, candles, bows, and gingerbread figures, like stockings, rocking horses, gingerbread men, and even tiny Christmas trees! The gold star glimmers at the top as a beacon to attract guests of all ages.
Can’t you just feel that Christmas magic looking at the tree? (We can!!)
And, we think it will look even more beautiful when it’s all lit up at night, starting with the castle lighting this evening!
The underside of the tree is piled high with gifts galore, both wrapped and unwrapped. We spotted teddy bears, drums, nutcrackers, and even a toy train named the Lilly Belle after the original in Disneyland.
You can read all about the Lilly Belle here!
The Dapper Dans were out serenading guests along Main Street with holiday jingles, making everything merry and bright! (Um, we can’t get over their adorable holiday-themed outfits!!)
The rest of Main Street, including City Hall, has been decked out in garlands, bows, and wreaths to match the tree.
While we were able to spot the Mickey wreaths, storefront decorations, and more, the new hanging wreaths complete with bells, candles, and bows are new today…
…along with the finished transformation of the Magic Kingdom Train Station! (Bye, Hallowmas! ‘Til next year!)
You can check out all of the decorations on Main Street here!
We’re ready to rock around the Christmas tree all season long!
