REVIEW: Go Nuts Over the New Caramel and Coconut Churros in Disneyland

It’s officially Christmas at Disneyland Park!

We’ve been eating and drinking our way around Disneyland to check out all of their new seasonal offerings for the 2019 holiday seasons! After chowing down on the Toffee Churro and the Santa’s Milk and Cookies Churro, we had our eyes on the churro cart near Sleeping Beauty’s Castle for their special holiday treat.

With the holidays comes NEW seasonal Churros! At the Sleeping Beauty Churro cart, we found a new Caramel and Coconut Churro. This is priced at $5.75 with the Caramel Coconut Dip setting you back an extra $1.00.

When we dip, I dip, we dip! This churro was very fresh but also very much a classic Disneyland churro (not necessarily a bad thing if you’re craving a classic churro). We luuurve the idea of caramel and coconut, but surprisingly, the dip just tasted like standard caramel sauce. We wanted to go nuts for coconuts! The couple flakes of coconut in the sauce were nice but lost in the sticky-sweet sauce. We would have loved to taste more of a coconutty punch from this.

The thick caramel dip was obviously very flavorful (and plentiful!). It was much thicker in texture than previous churro dip options throughout the seasons. This caramel sauce was pretty fantastic, even if we didn’t get much coconut flavor from it.

If you want a sticky caramelly churro, this will hit the spot nicely! Before you power through to Fantasyland, make a pitstop at the churro cart in front the Castle for this sweet treat.
