Honestly, Christmas in Disney World is pure magic for us. That’s why the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is one of our FAVORITE things to do in Epcot!
And, we’ve been giving you a look at all the eats and merch as we’ve been live at the Festival of Holidays! Now, it’s time to head to the Morocco Pavilion for all sorts of Christmas goodies!
The Sapphire Holiday Kitchen takes your tastebuds on a trip around the world without even leaving Epcot!
Although we are excited to see all the returning items back again, there is one new item to sip on this year!
FOOD
Making its way into the booth once again, the Grilled Lamb Kefta Kebab served with grilled pita. However, unlike last year’s dressings, this year’s dish is served with Euro cucumber, red pepper, pickled pearl onions, and harissa-cilantro dressing for $9 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. This tasted really good. We loved the lamb which was moist and well-seasoned! Plus the sauce was super yummy!
We also spotted the Confit of Chermoula Chicken Drum made with cinnamon Granny Smith apple, toasted almonds, Brussels sprouts, and Pinot Noir glaze for $8.
Those with a sweet tooth may be happy to know that the Sfenj has returned! These are warm beignets filled with cream, cinnamon sugar, chocolate sauce, and optional nuts for $6 — plus they made our BEST of the FEST List!
After eating all that food, the cocktails at Sapphire Holiday Kitchen are a nice refreshment! This year, the Andalusian “Poinsettia” Cocktail featuring sparkling wine, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, and orange blossom water for $9…
…the bitter (and beautifully colored) Casa Beer for $4.50…
…and the Walnut Spiced Coffee mixed with walnut liqueur and topped with cinnamon and whipped cream for $8 can all be sipped on again!
And, coming to the booth this year for the first time, guests can try the Bonassia Red Wine for $6! Such a delicious addition to the booth, especially if you’re a Red Wine lover! <3
Who said you have to switch things up EVERY year?? ‘Cause the returning items just happen to be some of the best at all the booths at Festival of the Holidays!
Speaking of ALL of the booths? Be sure to take a look at all of our BOOTH and MENU pages!
And follow along with us as we report LIVE from Epcot!
