I know you guys aren’t trying to dissuade people from going to the Hollywood and Vine character meal, but I think you need to give it a little more love! We went there on our last WDW trip about 1.5 years ago, and I plan on booking it again for this November’s trip. You may not get to spend a ton of time with the characters, but you do have 4 classic characters come see you and then get a photo pass picture with the 5th. (Not breakfast since that’s Disney Jr) Was it the best buffet food ever? No. But we definitely enjoyed everything we ate, especially the lobster mac’n’cheese. My husband is practically praying they serve it again. And if you have a DDP, booking this as the Fantasmic package is one of the best uses of a table service credit plus a pass to reserved show seating. But for us the main 2 reasons I picked it in the first place is that you get to meet the 5 classic characters all without having to leave a park or waste a FastPass on meet and greets. I have 7 & 11 year old boys that literally make vomiting sounds if I even mention a princess movie. And we only have a few days at WDW, so we avoid leaving the parks at all costs. I considered Garden Grill this time around, but frankly, it feels like a waste of stomach space while at Epcot. How could we possibly eat our way around the world after that!?!? Tragic. Sorry, but Hollywood & Vine is the ONLY choice for us!
