A new line of Disney cloth face masks is now available for pre-order on shopDisney.com, with designs featuring characters from Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, and Pixar!
And even better, Disney has announced that they are donating one million cloth face masks for children and families in underserved communities across the United States, including California and Florida, too.
Additionally, Disney will donate all profits from the sales of the masks in the United States to Medshare up to $1 million, now through September 30, 2020.
Let’s take a closer look…
The masks are available in packs of four for $19.99. You’ll spy Mickey (and his signature grin), beloved Disney Princesses, Pixar pals from Toy Story and — YES — even The Child, BABY YODA –and more among the various pack options.
Masks come available in Small, Medium, and Large, and you can see a sizing chart (along with care instructions) on shopDisney.com sharing more specifications.
Shipping for the masks is currently estimated for June. Note that the masks align with the FDA’s latest recommendations on non-surgical, non-industrial grade face masks, according to Disney.
We do want to note that you may need to exercise a bit of patience, as the pre-order pages for the individual sets are already seeing a lot of traffic!
Edward Park, senior vice president, Disney store and shopDisney shares: “We realize this is a challenging time for families and wearing any type of mask can be daunting. Our hope is that Disney’s cloth face masks featuring some of our most beloved characters will provide comfort to the families, fans and communities that are so important to us.”
These cloth masks have been created in light of CDC’s recommendation that people wear cloth face masks when in public. Additionally, Disney shares that: “During these challenging times, we’re using the power of our timeless stories and beloved characters to address our guests’ needs.”

Oh wow, polyester material in a supposedly breathable face mask!!? No way. Wrong material Disney. I guess people truly will buy anything without looking at what it is made from!

I assume children under 2 are not required to wear masks given the guidelines on breathing and U2s
Cloth masks – how will people clean them? When we visit we stay a minimum of 14 nights in resort do all the parks go out for a swim and come back in.
Their purpose is to be disposed off regularly and every time you touch it – cigarette, drink, food, nipping out of the park, swimming? it feels like a pandemic response that isn’t medically grounded or with best practice in PPE considered just making people feel better – surely if people need to feel better they can wear them and if not then don’t.
Being from UK we also find the weather hot whenever we go! The thought of humidity related asthma and then a mask which serves no purpose as we’re sweating buckets – eeugh – social distancing in lines could be beneficial! Just hand washing facilities and gel in the right places, continued great cleaning from the Disney team in the parks, doors from bathrooms that don’t need touching and get rid of those warm water fountains. We’d be back in a flash. Make us hand gel before we go near a princess – that’s fine. It will be sad if this is a permanent situation as it is pointless.

For safety sake, wear masks. I love Disney and respect their trying to safeguard employees and visitors.

I have reservations for October and have bought the memory maker. If I have to take pictures with a mask on then I’m cancelling it! That’s going a bit too far! Are you going to make people wear masks at the water park and at the swimming pool too? I can see wearing them in a crowd but other than that NO! People are really going over board with this and I’m seriously thinking about cancelling my whole trip if that’s the case! I’m VERY upset about making people wear them that don’t want to.
L Rakocy says
Nope. Won’t wear a mask.
I’ll cancel my upcoming Dis way vacation before I’ll wear one

Just got our masks, ordered them in a large per the size chart. They are super small! No quality control, one fits ok, others are more for a toddler or a doll! 20.00 down the drain, just a sad and tiny piece of junk.

Glad I read your comment Lizzie prior to purchasing some masks. Thanks for the review.
