While Disney World hasn’t set an official opening date, Disney Springs will be starting a phased reopening on May 20th with third-party stores and restaurants.
During this initial time, there will be “enhanced safety measures” (which you can read more about here). We have already shared that STK Orlando and Wine Bar George will be reopening on May 20th. Now, we have a confirmed store to add to the list.
After calling the store, we were informed that Anthropologie plans to reopen its doors on May 20th. According to Anothropologie’s website, “We are trying to provide you the store experience you know and love while accommodating social distancing and other procedures designed to keep you and our employees safe.”
According to their FAQ page, they will be placing taped markers on their floors to observe social distancing. They will be sanitizing surfaces, cleaning rooms, and sanitizing door handles. There will also be hand sanitizer readily available. For the time being, all transactions will be contactless, meaning that they will not accept cash or check payments and all receipts will be emailed.
We will continue to keep you posted as we confirm with more stores and dining locations on their plans for May 20th.
