We’ve been keeping an eye out for any updates about the 2020 Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
Epcot is set to reopen on July 15th, and we’ve been wondering how the Food and Wine Festival could be different this year. Disney hasn’t yet released information regarding the festival dates, menus, or special events, but we noticed something interesting regarding the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
Recently, Mickey Thomas from Starship tweeted about the Disney World’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival Eat to the Beat concerts potentially being canceled. The tweet has since been deleted. So we wanted to do some investigating.
While Disney World has not released the lineup for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, we did know of several confirmed performers based on their published tour schedules. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, .38 Special, Tiffany, and Taylor Dayne all had Eat to the Beat performances listed on their tour schedules earlier this year.
Now previously, Taylor Dayne’s tour schedule listed Eat to the Beat performances on October 9th and 10th.
However, when we checked her tour schedule today, we noticed that the Eat to the Beat performances have been removed.
As of now, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Tiffany, and .38 Special do still have Eat to the Beat listed on their tour schedules. We’ll continue to keep an eye on their schedules to see whether any other changes are made.

Do you think the Eat to the Beat Concert Series will return to the Food and Wine Festival this year? Let us know in the comments!
Not likely there is any food and wine this year or concerts
I hope they don’t cancel the Food and Wine Festival. That is one of the big reasons I planned my trip in September. Maybe they will still have the festival but without the concerts due to social distancing.
Sadly, I’m not confident that the Food and Wine Festival will even happen this year.
Bottom line, no concerts, no annual pass renewal. Hope someone from Disney follows this.
I do hope we are not correct, however, due to the health concerns and more in 2020, we are of the opinion that Walt Disney World will not put the effort, expense and more, into hosting another Festival while the virus is still so active.
WDW lost an awful lot of money on The Flower and Garden Festival this year:(
There is a large amount of talk about an autumn resurgence of the virus, (this while the current surge is less than under control).
We don’t think they Disney will risk the health of park lover patrons or their own employees, nor will Disney jeopardize it’s reputation as: “the happiest place on earth”.
We head to WDW yearly for the Food and Wine Festival, and always try to go to Orlando for the Flower and Garden Festival. We live in the upper Northwest-
Our Flower and Garden vacation was cancelled due to the virus this year. We plan it somewhat around Peter Noone’s show:)
We also have all arrangements, plane tickets and rooms at the Epcot resort ,set and ready for 2020 Food and Wine Festival early November. With all the changes and uncertainties ,we are preparing to regroup, accept—and see 2021 as a better option for a bit more normalcy.
It’s sad and concerning stuff going on all around us. Many people feel it, and most Disney fans feel it.
Let us all trust, hope, do our part to keep one another safe.
A favorite Walt Disney Quote says it all: “Fantasy and reality often overlap”
Take care everyone!
If true, another example if Disney shooting itself in the face.
Disney is going to social distance itself right out if existence. What’s left at Disney that is worth spending thousands of dollars for?
I do agree with what the poster above said….Disney is going to social distance itself right out if existence. They are taking things way too far in so many ways. I would not expect a food and wine fest at all, too many standing around drinking and its just not going to work. I wouldn’t expect a Candlelight Processional either. So be ready.
I asked a Guest Services Cast Member (Martha) today (6/16) about the Festival and was told it was still on and has not been Canceled.
Are they bringing back British Revolution to UK World Showcase.
Karen, no word on this.
There will be food and wine festival just no concerts . I’m gonna pass this year .
