Here’s some important info for guests with an upcoming reservation at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort!
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom preparing to reopen on July 11th, followed by Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15th. But even though the parks are getting ready to welcome back guests, the Swan and Dolphin Resort will remain closed, and will relocate guests with existing reservations!
One of the great benefits of staying at the Swan and Dolphin Resort is the close proximity to the Disney parks — especially Epcot and Hollywood Studios! But if you had plans to stay at this resort in the near future, you might be in for a shake-up.
Earlier this month, a member of our team received an email with information regarding the restrictions being implemented both in the Disney parks and the hotel. The email asked guests to call or email the hotel to confirm their reservation.
Today, we received another email stating that the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort will be closed to the general public until July 29th, 2020.Â
As a substitute for the room at the Swan and Dolphin, we were offered reservations at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort and Spa at the same rate, dates, and room type. We were asked to call to confirm the reservation at the new location.
The Swan and Dolphin Resort is currently accepting reservations for July 29th and beyond.
So, if you have an upcoming stay at the Swan and Dolphin resort, be sure to check your email regarding alternate arrangements!

Kevin says
Does anyone know what is happening with the AllStar resorts? Not appearing on any booking site in the UK throughout this and next year.
DFB Sarah says
Kevin, Disney hasn’t announced a plan for the All Stars yet.
Paul Alter says
Do you know if this so the sports teams can have appropriate social distancing and protection from the general public?
Denise says
Do you know if the Park Passes that were made with a Disney Swan hotel reservation will be cancelled if they move you to the Marriott Bonnet Creek location or will they transfer?
DFB Sarah says
Denise, we would expect them to transfer since the move is due to Swan and Dolphin’s changes, but you may want to call Swan/Dolphin or Disney to confirm.
DFB Sarah says
Paul, we don’t know.
Jesse Narshall says
For those with Swan and Dolphin cancelled reservations I was told Do not change the reservation in my Disney experience linked to the Swan and Dolphin. Leave it as the Swan and Dolphin. If you change it you may loose your park reservations.
